Increasingly, more surgeries have been done on K9s with glaucoma disease in order to preserve their eyesight.
South African vets are adopting PAUL® to treat furry friends suffering from glaucoma disease. Dr Lo-An Odayar, an eye specialist, and her team decided to implant a PAUL® Glaucoma Implant in a 12-year-old Spaniel named Bella. This was done at Valley Farm Animal Hospital in Pretoria, South Africa. In another case, she implanted a PAUL® in a 9-year-old Beagle named Lia. Both furry patients are doing well.
